Michelle Chang, our August’s beauty therapist

[vc_row full_width=”stretch_row”][vc_column][vc_column_text]BodiBeauticious’ biggest asset are its people, the clients as well as the employee. Therefore, we decided to highlight a different beauty therapist with a brief and funny interview in our newsletter every month. We want you to meet our team to see the real people behind every treatment. So enjoy!

The first one is Michelle Chuang, senior beauty therapist at BodiBeauticious Rose Bay. We all love her for her excellent IPL skin rejuvenation, anti-acne, oxygenation, anti-aging and all the other machinery treatments. But what else do we know about Michelle? We tried to find out more…

Where are you from?
M: I’m originally from Taiwan and I moved to Australia in early 2000. I really like it here, especially Rose Bay because people are so lovely

How long have you been working at BodiBeauticious?
M: I’ve been a beauty therapist at BodiBeauticious for over 2 years now but I started working in the industry in my early 20s. And I’m going to be 41 in October this year… 😉

What is your favourite part of the job?
M: My favorite part of my job is when clients walk out with a big smile on their face, it makes me happy and proud.

What are the most unusual and annoying requests you ever got?
M: I don’t recall any unusual request from clients so far but I can say that the most annoying moment was when a client asked me to wax her eyebrows. I did it and she then said she didn’t remember she ever asked to wax her eyebrows. It was really frustrating!

What’s the weirdest and funniest request you ever had from a man?
M: Years ago I was working at a day spa and a guy came for a massage. When I walked into the room to perform the treatment, he was still fully dressed. So I told him he needed to take off his cloths and he replied “ladies first”!

What is your secret of success?
M: “Do it with your heart” and “go the extra mile” are 2 quotes that definitely inspire my life in general as well as my job.

Do you have a family?
M: I’m a single mum of a lovely girl who’s 14 now.

What do you like doing in your free time?
M: I love digging into nature, bushwalking, camping,  seeing the sunrise and the sunset, going to the beach. I’m also a gospel singer and I’m  writing a book …

Really? What is it about?
M: It’s gonna be a big surprise for everyone; but all I can say for now is that it’s about encouragement

So thank you Michelle, we’re really looking forward to reading your book now!

Who’s your favorite member of BodiBeauticious team? Is she gonna be the next employee of the month? We’ll find out in September’s newsletter![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
