A topical anaesthesia cream is applied before treatment, making the treatment completely pain free.
Dermapen improves burn wounds, scar tissue, stretch marks and helps to diminish and improve acne scars.It also minimises pore size on the facial area and is highly successful for overall skin rejuvenation. Dermapen treatments have also been found to be more effective and beneficial than most microdermabrasion and chemical peels.
We apply a numbing cream 30 minutes before that makes this process painless.
The most common side effect is minor skin irritation immediately following the procedure. You may also see redness for a few days.
You will see results from the very first treatment. Your skin will continue to improve over the 6-12 months after a course of treatments. We recommend a treatment every 4-6 weeks until you achieve the desired results. For collagen induction we recommend to start with 4 treatments. For scar reduction an average of 4 to 6 treatments.
